What’s going on with FreeLotto today?

Unfortunately, FreeLotto is no longer live. PlasmaNet rebranded the site as free lotto dot site. But, this site is also down.

If you’re interested in a free lotto, some brands offer a free line in the first purchase or a buy one get one offer on specific lotteries. I have a toplist of online lotteries and a country specific list – India for example. There are also a few completely free websites – LoveFreeLotto is one – but you have to align expectations by reading the review.

Intro to FreeLotto

FreeLotto is able to support its daily free games because they make use of sponsored advertising during gameplay and via email. They also have an optional subscription service called F.A.S.T. However, their website looks quite outdated and cluttered. Also, there seem to be too many citizenship restrictions as to who can play the games.

PlasmaNet Inc., a New York based company, launchedthe program in 1999. I was looking for information about PlasmaNet, and there are a lot of articles about it, but no website. Here is PlasmaNet’s LinkedIn profile. Lottery tickets are not purchased on this site but instead, players play sweepstakes by selecting numbers from a grid of selected numbers for each game. Players can do six games daily and can register up to ten accounts. The website comes with multiple languages including English, Finnish, Norwegian, French, Portuguese, Dutch and Spanish.

FreeLotto Review Aspects

All brands review at top10bestonlinelotto considers these features and review aspects. I consider these as critical to lottery players, and having this benchmark makes comparing brands that more simple.

  • SECURITY – FreeLotto site’s commitment to keeping users’ detailed secured – level of encryption. In addition, which gaming regulator issued the lottery agent .
  • PRODUCTS – What are the lotteries offered on FreeLotto and what game modes are available. In addition, I check if and what side games – such as Keno, Scratchcards, Instant Win, etc. – you can play.
  • FEATURES – I test the site’s functionality and overall user experience – which languages and currencies are supported.
  • PLATFORMS – How well does the online lottery agent’s site support different screen sizes – Desktop, Tablet amd Mobile – and if there are any apps – iOS or Android – available for download.
  • PROMOTIONS – Online lottery sites offer attractive bonuses that range from free shares on registration, to free tickets with a purchase or bonus on deposit. There are also VIP/ Loyalty plans for returning players. Which rewards does FreeLotto offer its players?
  • SUPPORT – All lottery agents have some kind of Customer Support, and I review them. Being able to reach the site’s owners at any given time should be an important aspect for any lottery player.

Lotteries and Software – Products and Features

Freelotto is technically not a lottery site, but a sweepstakes site. Players have two ways of playing: either with their own numbers or by using a Quick Pick option for each game.

After players choose their numbers for each game, they are asked to click on the sponsor’s banner ad and to answer multiple-choice questions. An alternative will be to click on the “FreeBet” button. If a player wins, they get email notifications and no form of notification from the website itself, although the website states that player can check their results daily.

The site claims to have awarded a total of $104,706,013 in cash and prizes since they first launched. Freelotto.com offers no exceptional bonuses and promotional awards. It has about six sweepstakes games available to players all named according to the prizes derived from them. They include Classic FreeLotto, FreeLotto Win A Car, FreeLotto Pay Off Your Mortgage, FreeLotto FastCash, FreeLotto $100,000, and FreeLotto SuperBucks. They all have their unique entry terms and conditions.

Mobile Platform Support

Freelotto.com does not have an active mobile application. This already makes the whole gaming process quite inconvenient.

The web experience is decent, but not exceptional, compared to top leading agents – LottoAgent is a good example.

Promotions and Bonuses

There is also a subscription service called FreeLotto F.A.S.T. or FreeLotto Winners Club, whose members are promised extras such expedited prize payments, a lottery newsletter, and 180 chances to win every eighty days. T

Banking Options

The price for the sweepstakes games is absolutely free of charge.

As for after-win withdrawals, the platform does not clearly state how and when prizes are to be claimed. There are no laid out protocols. Instead, their rules page just lists out elaborate details of how to enter the game, how to register, the documents submitted to claim these prizes and the cash prizes to be won. It is unclear how to collect these wins.

You are supposedly to send some e-copy documents to a particular email, but there’s no record of the transaction method is used to forward payment.

Customer Support

The website has an FAQ page that has various inquiry subheadings like how do I collect my prize?, how do I play?, Am I eligible to play free lotto? and so on.

There are these available channels for reaching customer support:

  • contact us form
  • Social networks

No chat or phone options available, but they are active and responsive on social networks.

Is FreeLotto Lottery Legit or Fraus?

The site is down. This applies to freelotto.site too. Looking back, there are real user complaints on a few platforms and FreeLotto didn’t resolve their issues to their content.

On the other hand, the company that ownes the brand, PlasmaNet Inc., is still active. This is a positive sign.

Review Summary

When the site was live, it did well and was popular – there are financial records publicly available.

Pros / Cons
  • Free to play
  • Is active since 1999
  • The company behind the website is public and active
  • Use aggressive marketing tactics
  • Site is down for a while and it's future is unclear

FreeLotto Alternatives

Since the site is no longer available, players need alternatives to playing online lottery. If you like, there’s a toplist at the site’s homepage. A couple of brands I highly recommend are LottoKings and Lotto247.
